We are Martijn & Marit Kramer. Since 2007 we form the combination M. & M. Kramer and we fly from our home address in Wormer. There where Martijn
may be called the true pigeon specialist of the combination, Marit provides continuity in the daily care of the pigeons and the
administration. After all, in daily life Martijn has a 40-hour working week with an employer. Martijn has been keeping racing pigeons for more than 30 years. He
learned the intricacies of the pigeon business from his father Fred Kramer and Cees Ouwehand. Together with Fred and Cees, Martijn formed until 2007
The combination F.S. Kramer & Zn. This combination has excelled in the one-day long distance in province 6 North Holland since the 1990s. During these years, this
combination furore with an Olympiad pigeon ‘De Olympiade<\/a>‘ (Van der Wegen x Tournier). In 1995 this cock was awarded the title 4th
World Champion Dagfond Olympiad Utrecht. ‘De Olympiade’ is the grandfather of \u2018Goeie Rooie<\/a>\u2018, the ancestor of the one day long distance pigeons. Years later
The combination with the ‘Nedved<\/a>‘ (\u00b4\u00b4Goeie Rooie\u00b4\u00b4 line – Wal Zoontjes x Van der Wegen\/Tournier\/Kramer\/Dekker) also won the prestigious competition
WHZB. As a yearling, ‘Nedved’ was awarded the title of 1st Ace Pigeon One Day Long Distance WHZB 2004.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Our pigeon colony is largely made up of descendants of our own species, namely the ‘Goeie Rooie<\/a>‘ line. The ‘Goeie Rooie’ was a beautiful red
scratch cock from 1996 with a fantastic eye. This cock became 7th National Ace Middle Distance WHZB in 1998 and 1st Ace Middle Distance in Division 6 North.
Holland in 1999. As a breeder, this cock produced the top pigeon \u2018De Havik<\/a>\u2019, the father of \u2018Cees<\/a>\u2019. ‘Cees’ flew as a young pigeon at Chimay in 2007 a 1st
against 18,042 pigeons, our first win in major competition. This was followed by \u2018The Prince<\/a>\u2019, \u2018Pullo<\/a>\u2019, both grandchildren of ‘Goeie Rooie<\/a>‘.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Our strategy in recent years has been to annually purchase (grand)children of national top pigeons. These include “Mr. <\/a>
Veenendaal’ (100% Koopman via R.A. Bakker & Zn), the ‘Super Harry<\/a>‘ (grandson of ‘Harry’ by J. Hooijmans via Team GPS), ‘Inbreeding <\/a>
Olympiade’ (granddaughter of ‘Olympiade 003’ by L. Heremans) and ‘Corina<\/a>‘ (100% C. Leijtens) purchased by us. The descendants from the ‘Goeie Rooie’
line have been crossed with the purchased top pigeons in recent years to eventually form their own “Kramer” strain with these.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2012, we moved to a larger location within our village. Click here for images of the construction of the loft. First, an indoor fly loft was
built, then a large run was installed in front of the young pigeon loft, and finally a residential fan was installed in the racing loft.
The real successes came in 2015. In that year we scored an unprecedented victory at Quievrain in a young pigeon race: 1st,2nd,3rd,4th and
8th etc. against 5,841 pigeons, with the first four signed youngsters in front. The coveted Golden Dove pins and a Super Star Award from the
month of September we were able to receive. Immediately after three years of flying young pigeons from the new address, we became the winners of the
National Daily Fund Mirror over three years (2014\/2015\/2016).<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The same upward trend was seen in the one-day long distance pigeons. Three years in a row we managed to win an NPO victory: <\/p>\n

2015 \u2013 \u2018Jens<\/a>\u2019 \u2013 1st NPO Vierzon against 5,258 pigeons (630 km) <\/p>\n

2016 \u2013 \u2018Juno<\/a>\u2019 \u2013 1st NPO Chateauroux against 4,532 pigeons \/ 7th National against 47,453 pigeons (670 km) <\/p>\n

2017 \u2013 \u2018Red Harry<\/a>\u2019 \u2013 1st NPO La Souterraine against 2,875 pigeons (736 km) <\/p>\n

But in 2018 the real national breakthrough came. The hottest summer of all time created ideal conditions for our one-day long distance pigeons. One top pigeon
stood out head and shoulders above the rest: “TGV<\/a>. With three intertext entries, 4th NPO Fontenay against 2,265 pigeons, 7th NPO Laon against 4,185
pigeons and 7th NPO Argenton against 2,853 pigeons, this pigeon erased the title 1st National Ace Pigeon Day Distance WHZB-TBOTB 2018, as well as many other titles, on
his name. Among the young pigeons, ‘Mei Xing’ became 4th National Ace Pigeon Young Shorts WHZB-TBOTB 2018.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

But our one-day long-distance pigeons also showed that they can shine in all weather conditions, which became apparent in the 2019 season. With the day long pigeons
flew ‘Bakero<\/a>‘ a 1st NPO Fontenay against 5,862 pigeons and ‘Iron Man<\/a>‘ a 1st NPO Argenton in leaden weather conditions against 3,023
pigeons. Among the young pigeons, \u2018Triple Max<\/a>\u2019 won a 1st NPO Pt.St. Maxence against 3,592 pigeons. Again 2 pigeons high in the ranking of WHZB
TBOTB: ‘Olympic Blueliner<\/a>‘ – 11th National Ace Middle Distance WZHB-TBOTB 2019 and ‘Summer Chique<\/a>‘ – 10th National Ace Young All-Around WHZB
TBOTB 2019. Later in 2022 it appears that this is the case. of a new star in the loft \u00b4Olympic Blueliner<\/a>\u00b4, 3rd Olympiad pigeon Cat. C , day long distance, Team A
2019-2020. Olympic rings are a fact! <\/p>\n

With a wide breeding loft, built from descendants of the old ‘Goeie Rooie’ strain, purchased national top pigeons and a large number of
performance pigeons from their own breeding, the combination M. & M. Kramer hopes to excel at a high level with day long distance and young
pigeons. <\/p>\n
